Fish Out #2 – Spider Lake

Fish out #2 took pace on 25 May 2023 with 8 members participating. Weather was sunny and warm with light winds. Water temp was also warm at 71 degrees. Fishing was tough with trout making 1/2 hearted attempts at various flies. Success was rewarded while fishing full sink lines with boobies, dragons and wooly buggers . Four of the group accounted for 7 trout netted including 2 x 18 inches. Others left earlier and perhaps had some success ? Anyway, much below what was hoped for but such is fishing !
