Quennell Lake Fish Out took place July 05 with 10 participants which was a good turnout. Most boats were on the water by 0800 in calm conditions. Everybody was off the water by 130 pm as the wind picked up and it got pretty hot ! Water temp was around 80 F !! Fishing was pretty good for a few of us ! My experience was casting to shore in shady spots produced good results with 7 landed to 14 inches and about the same # lost with many more hits on a green damsel bugger with tungsten bead . Catch of the Day Award goes to Bryon Younie who was fishing with Rob Mann and landed a beauty 22 inch bass estimated at 5 lbs. . They fished sinking lines and wooly buggers about 20 feet off shore close to the bottom in the area around Zuider Zee Campground. Well done Bryon !!
